The Summer of Anti-Post

As some of you may have noticed, there haven’t been very many posts. The only explanation I have for this is that I have been busy doing what seems as I reflect…nothing. I have failed to observe the detail that lies hidden in the obviously normal. Hopefully I will get better at it as the school year starts to wind up.

I am working, although not as productively as I would like, on a website wizard tool for a JRCA product. More details will follow when it is launched.

I hope to add a new "segment" for lack of a better word (perhaps essays?) to the site. I plan to write my thoughts on current topics of interest, such as:

Video Game Violentce, Global Economics, Global Politics, US Media Censorship, Racism and other topics that I would like to discuss with my readership.

Also with my new phone and Blue Tooth capabilities I would like to ad a segment where I use it to take a daily picture.

My current project, aside from what I have said, is to build my own custom computer/homework/drawing desk. I also want to "Pimp my" Computer.

Have a good time in the rest of the summer everyone.

shatter the norm!

  1. 1. We forgive you for not posting.
    2. I can honestly say that I personally don’t know if I would look at your "essays" on topics of interest. Unless they’re breif, I can do breif.
    3. You better make sweet faces in your daily picture, or that’ll get boring. I suggest hats, or maybe face paint, or if you feel creative colored hair gel. But, of course, you’d have to wear that all day or it’d be pointless…
    4. You should have Xzibit make a song for your "Pimp my computer" scession. That’s kick ass. Maybe you could sell the idea to MTV

  2. So let’s talk about Religion.
First we need to define it.
In my opinioin Religion is the compilation of stories and rituals that we use to reinforce our faith and convey our faith to other. So Religion itself is not what you ‘believe in’ as it is how you communicate your beliefs.
Whereas Faith is a different story. Faith is believing something is true without any proof. If you have proof, it is not faith – it is fact (or at least truth to the best of our ability to identify it). Thus the term ‘Blind Faith’ is really redundant, since all faith is in reality believing without seeing.
If you believe ins a supreme being, you have faith.
In the same light – if you believe in the Unified Field Theory, one underlying force that explains electromagnetism and gravity, you also have faith. Your Religion is just different.
People who are highly committed to their Faith will use their religion as proof. I am not sure I am ready to debate this yet, although I do have an opinion.
